About the Opportunity: Reporting to our IT Infrastructure Team Leader, you'll be instrumental in planning, implementing, and supporting our entire technical environment, from network to data centre. This is a hybrid role in a fast-paced team that thrives on new ideas and encourages proactive problem-solving.

 

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Be the go-to Level 3 infrastructure expert, tackling complex issues and collaborating with business units to meet their evolving IT needs.
  • Design, optimise, and support critical technologies across our network infrastructure, servers, data communications, telecommunications, and data centre provisioning.
  • Champion operational continuity, disaster recovery, and a robust security posture to minimise threats.
  • Act as a key technical resource for both internal and external projects, driving successful outcomes.
  • Share your expertise by cross-training team members and providing seamless handovers.
  • Serve as an escalation point and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for infrastructure-related systems.
  • Some after-hours work will be required to keep our global operations running smoothly.

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience in a similar fast-paced infrastructure role.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in IT support, server, and network management.
  • A track record of managing small to medium-sized Wintel Comms based projects.
  • Strong technical proficiency in:
    • Cisco Networking (Switches, Routing), Meraki SD-WAN, Meraki WiFi, and Cisco UCM.
    • Active Directory design and management, including Windows Server, DNS (Internal/Public), DHCP, Certificate Services, IAS/NPS, and GPO.
    • Scripting (PowerShell, VB Scripting).
    • Microsoft Exchange 2016 Hybrid, Exchange Online, and M365 Management.
    • Lenovo/Dell server hardware administration.
    • VMware ESX and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualisation.
    • Veeam Backup solutions.
    • NetApp (ideal) or other SAN technologies (desirable).
    • Zscaler ZPA/ZCC for remote client ZTNA/VPN connectivity.
    • Checkpoint Firewalls (including remote Sites/Cloud VPN Tunnels).
    • Web/Email Content Scanning/Filtering (ideally Symantec WSS and Proofpoint).
    • Microsoft SQL Server and Symantec Endpoint Antivirus Server management or Crowdstrike.
