What you'll do:

As an Accounts Payable Officer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial data and smooth operations within our complex multi-entity structure. Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Processing Invoices with strong attention to detail.
  • Investigating and responding to accounts payable queries.
  • Efficiently managing the Accounts Payable inbox.
  • Reconciling vendor statements accurately.
  • Assisting with payment runs.
  • Vendor creation and maintenance.
  • Providing backup for bank account reconciliations.
  • Handling various ad-hoc administrative tasks.

 

 

What you'll bring:

Whether you're a recent graduate or have some experience, we're looking for someone with:

  • Strong data entry skills – this is essential!
  • Experience in Accounts Payable, data entry, or bookkeeping is a plus, but fresh graduates with a keen learning attitude are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Clear and open communication skills to effectively interact with our AU team and external suppliers.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with Yardi is a bonus, but not required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to self-assess your work.
  • A natural flair for problem-solving.
  • A basic understanding of Australian tax (GST).
  • A keen to learn attitude and a strong desire to develop your finance career.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • A down-to-earth, adaptable, and proactive personality who enjoys taking ownership and contributing to long-term growth.
