Comprising of the long term existing iconic brands in Spotlight, Anaconda and Mountain Designs, together with the exciting addition of Harris Scarfe, SRG is acknowledged as the market leaders within the Australian retail Space.

 

What You Will Be Doing:

In the last 5 years Demand Planning has grown to represent over 50% of Sales.  In this role you will take ownership of the Forecast – Order – Replenish - Review cycle for important, top selling Ranges to ensure we maximise Sales and hit Availability targets

  • Prepare and update weekly forecast data
  • Review historical sales and stock trends to reconcile variances and improve forward forecast accuracy
  • Manage and maintain Stock dynamically to cover promotional and seasonal events
  • Determine order quantities and flow schedule requirements
  • Review and manage weekly replenishments for your category 
  • Maintain store minimums and maximums for each SKU
  • Proactively communicate Sales Forecasts & Order requirements with the Local Vendor(s) on a weekly basis
    Provide feedback and suggestions to Departments and the Local Vendor on inventory risks and opportunities
  • Lead a strong collaborative process among Departments, Retail Ops and the Local Vendor(s)
  • Follow up Orders and Non-Fulfilment of store replenishment with the Local Vendor(s)

 

About You

  • Must be experienced in Merchandise Planning or Allocation, preferably Retail
  • Numerical, analytical and inquisitive
  • Self-starter with high attention to detail and a strong problem solver
  • Demonstrated experience of strong commercial / retail acumen
  • Ability to build strong working relationships, but also able to work independently
  • Ability to present information with confidence to Departments and Local Vendor(s)
  • Previous experience with SAP, intermediate Excel skills (inc v-lookups and pivot tables) is preferred
