This role takes that service and goes to the next level, working with our customers to tailor their furnishings requirements in their homes to match exactly what they want through our Made 2 Measure offering.
The position is for a Floating Sales Consultant who enjoys building relationships and will love the challenge of developing business outside of the opportunities that walk through the door.
What you would do:
This role is responsible for working with customers to provide both in-store and in-home advice and service for furnishings, utilising an extensive range of fabrics and window products that are available for demonstration.
As a floating consultant, you would be based out of a home store {add location} or within {add region} but primarily you would be travelling to other stores within your region to provide cover where needed.
How You'll Contribute:
Expertly match our products and services to client's needs both in-store and in-home visits
Measure and quote for the furnishing’s requirements of clients
Manage the end to end process from order through to installation
Provide high- level client service and follow up in a friendly, professional and timely manner
Work with the dedicated stores furnishings team to ensure all administrative duties are complete
Ability to have high level communication with clients and in-store team
About You:
Selling experience background within either:
In- home or outside sales, preferably in specialty or custom product/services- highly desirable
Retail environment - ideally within Home Decor/Furnishings.
Excellent attention to detail with critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated and driven by sales and results
Ability to work autonomously with excellent time management skills
Strong customer and team focus
Ability to build leads and develop new clients
Requirements for the role:
Valid and full driver's license
Availability to work full-time five days per week, one being a weekend day and 1 late night within the fortnight
Proficiency with using a PC/Tablet and with Microsoft Windows based programs
Ability to meet monthly sales and KPI targets
High level communication both written and verbal
