Role Overview: As a Spotlight Team Leader, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Store Manager to effectively manage daily operations, achieve sales growth, and deliver exceptional customer service. If you have the drive and determination that helped Spotlight evolve from a family-run market stall to a global retailer, you'll thrive in our team.

What Your Day Might Look Like:

  • Supporting the Store Manager in managing daily operations effectively.
  • Achieving sales growth and meeting regular KPI targets for your department.
  • Building a high-performing department team that delivers exceptional customer service.
  • Leading by example and communicating management expectations.
  • Managing high-volume stock effectively and ensuring merchandising meets business expectations.
  • Assisting in recruitment, training, and development functions.
  • Conducting high-volume stocktakes and implementing stock integrity initiatives.

What We're Looking for From You:

  • Retail management experience is essential.
  • Experience in high-volume stock management is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership style with an owner's mindset.
  • A passionate attitude that inspires teams to exceed goals.
  • Experience in development and performance plans.
  • Strong problem-solving skills driven by innovation and time management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • First Aid certification, or willingness to be trained at our expense.
