Spotlight Retail Group, Australia's largest privately-owned and operated family business, is seeking a strategic and data-driven CRM & Loyalty Manager to join our dynamic Digital team in South Melbourne.

What You'll Be Doing

Reporting directly to the Head of Digital, you will lead a talented team of 11 (both direct and indirect reports) and be the architect of our customer engagement success. Your mission will be to:

  • Lead Strategic Campaigns: Design and deliver large-scale retail campaigns and highly personalised CRM journeys, expertly tailored to customer behaviours and life stages.
  • Drive Data-Driven Insights: Leverage comprehensive customer data and insights to unlock smarter targeting, richer personalisation, and superior campaign performance.
  • Maximise MarTech Value: Optimise our MarTech platforms to deliver seamless, cutting-edge, and data-driven customer experiences.
  • Fuel Growth with Data: Transform raw customer data into actionable insights that directly fuel long-term customer growth and foster more meaningful relationships.
  • Evolve Our Tech Stack: Play a key role in the ongoing development and enhancement of our marketing technology ecosystem.

 

 

About You

We're looking for a seasoned professional with:

  • 7+ years of demonstrated experience in digital services, CRM platforms, loyalty programs, or subscription-based offerings within a B2C environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong strategic thinking, exceptional project management, and superior organisational capabilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, coupled with hands-on experience managing complex digital platforms or services.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across local and global teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including successfully managing and developing high-performing teams (direct and indirect).
  • Robust analytical skills to interpret user data, extract key insights, and apply them to enhance customer engagement strategies.
  • A solid understanding of digital ecosystems, intricate customer journeys, and online engagement platforms.
  • A strong sense of accountability for privacy regulations, digital compliance, and governance standards.
