We are seeking an experienced Store Planning & Design Lead to drive design excellence and contribute to the continued success of Australia's largest privately-owned retail powerhouse.
What You Will Be Doing:
Design Leadership: Collaboratively lead concept design, shopfront development, elevations, and comprehensive documentation for new and existing stores.
Project Tracking & Coordination: Manage the coordination and delegation of projects within the store planning team, proactively following up with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery overseeing the creation of feasibility studies, leasing plans, and building documentation.
Collaborative Documentation Development: Work closely with planners and project managers to develop store-specific design and construction documentation.
Driving Design Standards: Review, update, and generate store documentation, while maintaining and updating external signage guidelines and reference materials.
Fostering Team Growth & Collaboration: Build strong relationships across teams, lead and inspire the Store Planning team, and drive productive store review meetings.
About You:
Must have priorexperience (minimum 5 years) in retail store design within a commercial creative environment.
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and the Adobe Suite.
Demonstrated understanding of core retail operations activities.
Ability to interpret architectural drawings and a solid understanding of building codes.
Proven ability to lead, inspire, and effectively influence others.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strong customer service orientation and the ability to build strong business relationships.
Energetic, intuitive, self-starting, with excellent time management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment while consistently meeting deadlines.
Recognized as a valued and reliable contributor within a team environment, with exceptional attention to detail.
