Spotlight Retail Group is seeking a detail-oriented eCommerce Content Coordinator to join our eCommerce team located at South Melbourne and be instrumental in enriching our online product data to ensure all product information is complete, accurate, and presented in a customer-friendly manner, while consistently applying our brand's tone of voice.
Reporting to the e-Commerce Content Manager, you will create best-in-class product descriptions, coordinate online content maintenance, manage navigation, proactively identify website improvements for online trading, assist with product approvals, and contribute to process efficiencies for product quality. Other responsibilities include:
Create and Maintain Engaging Product Content: Develop compelling, SEO-optimised product descriptions aligned with brand voice and coordinate the ongoing accuracy and quality of all online product information.
Manage Online Navigation & Content Quality: Contribute to the effective organisation of website navigation and conduct thorough quality checks on all published product content.
Coordinate Product Data & Documentation: Efficiently collect product data from various sources and maintain organised product data, spreadsheets, and article lists.
Drive Website Improvement & Efficiency: Proactively identify website enhancements to improve online trading and contribute to process improvements for overall product quality and efficiency.
Support Product Approval & Information Architecture: Assist with the smooth flow of product approval processes and provide support for information architecture refinement initiatives.
Act on Customer Feedback for Content Enhancement: Review customer survey feedback to identify content gaps and opportunities, sharing insights with relevant teams.
About you
Proven background in eCommerce content or product information, with a strong grasp of online business principles and a drive to boost customer engagement and sales.
Technical & Analytical Skills: Proficient in HTML and advanced Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis; capable of analysing eCommerce data and providing actionable insights.
Highly articulate with excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at crafting creative, persuasive, and SEO-friendly copy aligned with brand voice.
Demonstrate excellent time management, prioritisation, and a commitment to accuracy in a fast-paced, multi-project environment with tight deadlines.
Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team, with a proactive, resilient, and solution-oriented approach to challenges.
