Our dynamic eCommerce team at Spotlight Retail Group is seeking a talented and passionate eCommerce Content Specialist to join our team.
Reporting to the CRO UX Lead, you'll play a vital role in supporting the success of our online business by creating engaging and compelling content that drives customer engagement and sales.
What You Will Be Doing
Content Creation & Management:
Develop and maintain engaging and user-friendly content (customer-facing & internal) across all channels.
Contribute to and maintain digital content style guides.
Optimize content for search engines (SEO) including Title tags, Meta Descriptions, and Redirects.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather accurate information.
Site Experience & Merchandising: Create and maintain promotional site components (banners, coupons) & ensure seamless transitions within the site.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyse consumer behaviour using internal and external systems to provide insights based on data analysis and resolve identified errors and participate in query resolution.
About You
Must have minimum 1+ year of experience in online retail or a similar role.
Ecommerce Expertise: Strong understanding of online business principles, customer behaviour, and digital marketing best practices.
Content Mastery: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a focus on clear, concise, and engaging copy.
Analytical & Data-Driven: Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Project Management: Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Proactive & Results-Oriented: A proactive and results-driven approach with a strong desire to improve online performance and drive sales.
