The Copywriter Lead oversees and creates compelling content for eCommerce sites, aligning with brand voice and marketing goals. You will lead and mentor a copywriting team, delivering high-quality content that drives engagement and sales. This role also involves managing performance metrics, setting team goals, and communicating results to key stakeholders

 

What you will be doing

  • Content Strategy Contribution and Execution: Develop content ideas that are in line with overall content strategy and business objectives. Creating various materials aligned with brand voice and SEO.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor copywriters, setting goals, managing workloads, and fostering a creative work environment.
  • Content Quality Assurance: Ensure exceptional content quality, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to create integrated campaigns and optimize content performance.
  • Creative Innovation: Generate innovative content ideas, staying updated on industry trends.
  • Performance Analysis: Track content performance, keyword rankings, provide insights, and set KPIs to measure success

 

 

About You

You must have prior experience with Blog content writing and possess strong SEO skills including keyword research, keyword tracking and reporting.

  • Proven Leadership and Expertise: Demonstrated success as a copywriting leader with a strong portfolio showcasing exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Strategic Content Mastery: Deep understanding of brand identity, content strategy development, and the ability to drive engagement and conversions.
  • Analytical and Data-Driven: Proven ability to analyse performance metrics, extract insights, and make data-informed decisions to optimize content.
  • Team Management and Collaboration: Experience leading and mentoring copywriting teams while fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Digital Proficiency: Strong knowledge of content management systems, SEO, analytics tools like Google Analytics, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Results-Oriented and Resilient: Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
